Each classroom, along with young adults and Adult /parent campers, will be learning about a festival-- the significance of the festival, regional customs and traditions, foods commonly eaten at festivals and the different names that people may call that festival. 

As we highlight every year, South Asia is incredibly diverse and by highlighting festivals, attendees will learn how much diversity there is within even just one festival!  At the end of Camp Masala, at our Sunday banquet, each classroom will share some with the rest of Camp Masala, something they learned about the festival that their classroom studied.
